The BirdBrain's Nest

Around campus I've noticed some posters talking about Mavolution (the sports team are called the Mavericks) . I go to the website which is about the student body elections coming up. I read their platform and laughed. They have a ton of ideas on how to "improve" thing on and around campus, but I don't see any thought process on how things will get paid for. If asked, raising student fees would probably be the answer. It's so frustrating to have all this time, money, and effort put into things that don't have anything to do with why we (the students) are here at school.

So I've been on spring break the past couple days. Instead of doing something noteworthy like catching up on homework, I've spent the time buying a sport coat and pants for interviews and by watching movies, such as the Sixth Sense.

The Sixth Sense wasn't as bad as I expected it to be, but I still like The Village better.
