I did it

I did somethign daring.

I shaved it all off.

It's completely bare down there.

It feels weird when I grab it, like I'm missing a part of me.

I'll grow it back someday.

Oh goatee, how I miss thee.

What did you think I was talking about?

Weekend

Drove through Dallas, WI.

I fished for the first times in about 5 years and only caught lily pads.

I got to drive a tractor and tinker with some old "putt-putt" type engines.

Also we went to the service at a traditional Lutheran church. Probably the most interesting thing for me was the large age differences. About half the people were over 50, in their 30's or 40's with kids, or kids themselves. The only people that I recognized as being close to my age were seniors in high school that were being honored during a part of the service.

The other interesting thing was communion. One by one the people in the pews went up to the alter, where they kneeled and were given the bread and wine.

A comment I have is that without someone leading worship, it is very easy to get lost in a hymn.

But organs are cool.

No Time

Since I moved back home after school, it seems like there is more to do. Since every day is spent working on residing the house and garage, as well as my marketing class, I have little time to un pack what stuff I need and put away what I don't need.

Good article for those in serving in a ministry.

And I be gone this weekend in Wisconsin. It'll be OK, I get to play a farmhand.

I'm stupid

As it turns out, the Beatle's don't have a song called "Lady Elaine" like I thought they did. It actually is called "Penny Lane." For some reason I thought they were referring to Lady Elaine Fairchilde from Mr Rogers Neighborhood. Back to misunderstanding the lyrics of popular songs. My life is brilliant....

Another horrible podcast

But it has Durry, so it must be good.
