more on Thoughts

Maybe a better way to explain my position is that I feel like Route 4 is under construction. I see the signs saying their working on things. I see the roads torn up as though they have been doing work. But I've been in the traffic jam for a while and I'm not seeing any construction workers do anything. Being stuck in traffic doesn't seem as bad when you actually see why traffic is so slow and that they're getting things fixed so that the slowdowns don't have to keep happening.

(Thanks to Dave for Route 4)

Actually I had promised myself that I wouldn't blog about Kapps and Diana's Wedding, but it isn't about the wedding.

I don't know of anyone who doesn't ever want to get married. This weekend I got thinking to "Am I ever going to get married?" I'm pretty sure I will some day. She's just waiting at the other end of the construction. Who is she? God has put someone on my heart, but told me now is not the time to act on it. More construction (waiting). I want to complain, but then I'm reminded of Jacob in Genesis who had to work for 14 years to marry his wife. God sure likes to teach patience.
