I've relapsed

From the Fall of 2001 to Spring 2002 I was a heavy drinker. Of Mountain Dew that is. I would have 1-2 Bottles a day of the wonderful Mountain Dew Code Red or the regular favor once in a while. As time passed I noticed that my hands almost always shaked, and I was constantly nervous/anxious/unsettled. Plus the amount of money I spent grew, with little to show in return beyond headaches if I didn't drink enough. Finally one day I said enough. I quit. Since then I've had a Mountain Dew four times: Twice when I was working overnights, once after Lux I tried Pitch Black, and Yesterday, Thanksgiving. I do like the taste of it, but I don't need any caffine since I have little trouble getting up.

Atheism vs. Christianity

Tonight I went to a Atheism vs. Christianity debate sponsored by the local IVCF chapter. It was interesting to say the least. The atheist would quote verses out of context or make generaizing statements that were wrong and his whole argument boiled down to he is doing what feels right to him. In my words he selfishly can't let someone else control his life, he has to do what is right (as he perceives it) for him. The Christian mostly covered God's grace, and in my opinion, didn't do enough of rebuttling of out of context or misinterpretations of the bible. It got me scratching my head.

I didn't know that lions were sinners and needed to be saved.

seriously though, stunts like this can make Christians look like nuts.

Updates

Let's see......First of all the flavor "Cinnamon Roll" in my Quaker Oats tastes horrible. I made a double batch of oatmeal 'cause I'm a growing boy ya' know, and when I got half way through it, the taste started making me sick. Yuck.

The election is over. Good. I wonder if Bush will do anything to improve this country and bring it in a more Christian direction like he says he is. So who will run against Hillary in '08?

School is as fun as ever. I'm writing this because when I tried to do homework, I kept falling asleep.

I hate the smoke detector in my apartment. I can't cook a pizza or fry hamburgers without that dang thing going off. It's a huge pain in the butt. So for the first time, I unhooked it while cooking a pizza. I felt like such a rebel, living dangerously on the edge, but will continue to disconnect it when necessary.
