Tiger, not Liger

I'm at the Apple store at the Mall of America with Dan, Chris and Dave, while Ben is working. We're enjoying Tiger.

I have to predict that OS 10.5 will be released BEFORE Longhorn ever reaches shelves. (supposedly in December 2006)

The rest of the family watched Napoleon Dynamite this evening. I think my parents enjoyed it a little, too.

This week, after the spring conference, I had two tests back to back Thursday morning. I did good on only one of them. More studying was called for. I had fours hours on Wednesday that I could have used to study, but I spent the time sleeping. Since I've gotten only 60% of the sleep that I normally do in the past week, I was completely wiped out and the sleep did me more good than studying would have. Ok, ok, studying more would have helped too, but I wanted to feel human again.

Since returning from the conference, I haven't unpacked my stuff. It just was laying where I dropped it Sunday night. That means every surface, save my bed, desk, and a path on the floor, was covered in laundry, dirty dishes, and other debris.

It's amazing what you can do in an hour.

3:43 PM: Start cleaning. Begin with dishes.

4:09 PM: Dishes done, start on Bathroom.

4:18 PM: Bathroom done, start figuring out what laundry is clean and what is dirty.

4:30 PM: Begin vacuuming and sweeping.

4:43 PM Finish.

So Ladies, this means I can cook, clean, AND do laundry. Also, I'm currently available.

All that's left to finish this semester is 3 weeks, 8 tests, a design project, and miscellaneous lab reports and homework.

Distractions

This has been a tough week for school. Not tough as in hard work, but tough as in I-am-ready-for-summer tough. I've had a hard time even doing basic homework this week and I blame it on three things. One, it's about 3/4 of the way through the semester, which is about the point were I start to not care about class and just want it to get over with. Two, I haven't had any major homework/report/projects due.* I'm really lazy (contrary to what you might see) and need to be under the gun to really get stuff done. Third, the Crossings Conference is this weekend, so it's hard to do other stuff when I'm thinking about what needs to be done for that. Also, The Office is a fairly funny show.

* Actually that's not true. My junior design project really needs to be worked on but I've hit obsticles to doing so.

Zero

I'm pretty sure I got zero on the test I finished taking 10 minutes ago. I got about four hours of decent studying done, which wasn't enough. I probably should have spent 10 hours a week for the past 4 weeks and maybe have gotten a decent grade. Or not. Others who had studied alot for this test said they also did bad. This class (Control Systems) is so frustrating as to not even make studying for it very motivating. Since it's a required class for graduation, I'll likely be taking it next spring. I can't wait.

Thanks for letting me vent and whine.
